A skillet dinner that tastes like the fall table without the extra effort — golden pork chops, a quick apple and sage stuffing, and a pan sauce that ties it all together.
Ingredients
1 tbsp butter
1 apple (cored and chopped)
1 tbsp Sage & Apple Stuffing Seasoning
1 cup toasted and cubed whole-grain bread
1/4 cup prepared Nourish Broth
Black Pepper
4 (4 oz/ 120 g) boneless pork chops
2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
Preparation
1. Add butter and apple to frying pan and sauté over medium-high heat until apple is soft and browned. Add Sage & Apple Stuffing Seasoning, bread, Black Pepper, and Nourish Broth. Heat thoroughly.
2. Slice each pork chop along one side to create a pocket. Stuff bread mixture into pocket.
3. Return pan to stove; add oil and sear pork chops on both sides for 3–5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for an additional 5–8 minutes.
